Brain games for kids: what parents should know about freegama
freegama has short brain games for kids, teens and adults. Here is what your child plays, what we store and what their scores mean.
What your child plays
Games practise memory, focus and speed, logic, and numbers. Each takes about two minutes. The daily quest has four games and takes about ten minutes. After the fourth, freegama says you are done for today. Your child can choose more practice, but the daily quest does not lead into it automatically.
Levels for their age
Kids ages 8–12 start at easier levels and have a lower difficulty limit than teens and adults. The games adjust as your child answers: correct answers can move them up, and mistakes can move them down. In a numbers game, an early level uses single-digit addition, such as 5 + 5. Kids do not reach the harder levels with large calculations.
What is not here
There are no ads, chat with other players, player messages or purchases inside games. Your child can start without signing up. There is no endless feed and no autoplay after the daily quest. The games have a clear end, so your child can stop when the daily set is complete.
What we store, and what we measure
A profile name, optional age, game results and progress stay in the browser on this device. Kids' profiles do not ask for an email address or phone number. We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which pages and games people use. It also measures game levels and scores. Google processes this usage and technical data. Advertising features are off. Analytics is on unless you turn it off on our Privacy page.
What to expect from results
Practising a game can help a child get better at that game. Their scores show how they played here. Research on whether those gains carry over to school or daily life is mixed. We do not promise better grades or a higher IQ. Read our guide to the research on brain games for kids for a closer look.

freegama is free to play. You do not need an account or a payment card to start. The daily quest and other practice games are available without a purchase.

Will it make my child smarter?
We do not claim that it raises IQ or grades. Children can practise the games and track their scores. Research on benefits outside the games is mixed.
