About this game
Potting Tray is a logic puzzle. A grid of pots holds flowers that differ in shape, colour and leaf count, and one pot is empty. You use the rules of the grid to work out what belongs there.
It is a matrix-style reasoning task. You have to look at rows and columns at the same time and combine what you find, which uses the same kind of thinking as many well-known reasoning tests.
How to play
- Look at the pots in each row and column.
- Work out which shape, colour and leaf count the empty pot needs.
- Set the dials to match and press Plant it. The grids get harder as you improve.
Tips
- Check one row first, then use the column to confirm.
- Solve one feature at a time, like the shape first, then the colour.
- Cross off what is already used in that row or column.
How it adapts
Kids start with fewer features changing at once. Teens and adults get more features and trickier layouts. The difficulty adjusts to how you play.
